This is the second year that Cllr Tony Murphy is leading a group of amazing people who will walk almost 150k on their second stage on the Camino de Santiago. Each year Tony will take a group of people to walk a stage of the Camino to help raise funds on our behalf. This morning the group met in Dublin Airport to begin this years journey which will start in Santo Domingo where the group will walk approximately 25k per day for six days and finish in the town of Fromista.The 2015 walk was a huge success when the group raised €10,000 and they hope to top this in 2016. Best of luck to all the walkers as they take on this walk for a great cause.
